Irene Posch

Irene Posch from Vienna is visiting fab*education!


Irene Posch is a researcher, lecturer and practitioner bridging technology, art and education. She revived an MSc in computer science and media having studied at the Technical University Vienna and the University of Applied Art. She previously worked with on designing exhibitions, among them the AEC FabLab - a FabLab as interactive exhibition space in a museum to introduce cultural and technical potentials of digital fabrication technologies to a wider audience. Currently she is developing the youth outreach program of the FabLab Vienna, focusing on potentials of FabLabs across disciplines. This includes creating workshops and afternoon activities, as well as researching how to combine its possibilities with the school curriculum.
